10. Facing the Fear of Growth & Healing, Support for Entrepreneurs

I feel like there’s a part of each of us that is afraid of what personal and spiritual growth may look like for us. It is common to wonder if will be accepted for the new version of ourselves.

Will our clients accept us, what about our spouses and our kids?

In today’s episode, we talk about all the reasons why people are hesitant to make positive changes in their lives, even when they know that the outcome is far greater than the work, and the effort it takes to put in. There is a definite fear of addressing painful memories, the fear of change and vulnerability, the loss of identity.

Sometimes we do have to lose ourselves a bit to find who we really are, and how we can be authentic to that person. There’s a fear around feeling the shame that we’ve all experienced at some point in life. Many of us also experience denial and coping mechanisms. And guess what, we may have to say goodbye to parts of ourselves in the process.

The biggest thing that people are fearful of is the lack of support that we have all felt in some way. This should not hinder us from being able to get to a place of self acceptance and self-love. I hope you find use in today’s episode and I’m sending my love to you.
